Rules Regarding Dormitory Access

  • All people other than the students residing in the dormitory are banned from entering into the dormitory rooms in principle
    ※ However, on move-in or move-out days, students’ parents will be allowed to enter the dormitory to help them move and organize their things after receiving a visitor’s pass from the Dormitory Operations Team.
  • Penalty points will be given if a dormitory student allows unregistered visitors into prohibited areas within the dormitory (such students may be forced to move out of the dormitory).
    - Places where unregistered visitors are allowed to enter in the dormitory: 1F ~ 2F (educational and shared facilities)

Items allowed in dormitory rooms

Item Details
Bedding - Each student should arrange their own bedding because it is not offered as part of dormitory accommodations.
- Refer to the size of the mattress* when purchasing bedding
* Size of the mattresses in all rooms: 2,000mm * 1,000 * *200
Essential Household Items - Toiletries, slippers, laundry detergent, hangers, etc.
LAN cable - Students should bring their own LAN cables if they so desire because LAN ports are provided in the rooms.
Electronic Devices - Only the electronic devices described below are allowed and all other devices are banned from the rooms.
- Computers, printers, desk lamps, cell phones, cameras, chargers
- Hair dryers, electric shavers
- Fans, humidifiers, small-size vacuum cleaners, air purifiers (should not have a cooling function)

Snacks - Allowed in rooms: small portions of individually packaged beverages, nuts, fruit, and confections.
- Not allowed in rooms: delivery food, cooked food, or instant food
※ Food not allowed in the rooms must be eaten at designated dining places before entering the rooms. If a student is found to have violated this rule or to be in possession of rotten food, penalty points will be given.
Key Things to Note - Students found to have brought in banned items will be given penalty points and the items will be confiscated.

Prohibited Items

Item Details
Knives - Kitchen, fruit, and foldable knives and razors
Tools - Hatchets, hammers, saws, etc.
Guns/explosives - Gas guns, firecrackers, etc.
Gas - Gas cans (all kinds of gas)
Chemicals - All types of chemical agents (solid, liquid)
Medicine - Large doses of drugs, including sleeping pills and anesthetics
Personal Routers - Use of personal routers is banned to facilitate internet use
Cooling and heating devices and electrical heating devices - Cooling and heating devices, such as electric heating pads and mats, hot water pads, electric blankets, electric sitting mats, electric kettles (coffee pots), toasters, egg steamers, electric coffee grinders, irons, TVs, gambling game machines
Flammable/ignitable materials cookware - Portable gas ranges, electric rice cookers, stoves (burners), electric ramen pots, frying pans, microwave, induction, etc.
Alcohol (including empty bottles) Food and drink - Alcohol (including empty bottles) and other types of food and drink cannot be stored in rooms.
※ Use designated places even when storing food and beverage in personal refrigerators.

Parcel and Luggage Storage

Item Details
Mail and parcel storage - Establish a designated room for keeping mail and parcels for the convenience of dormitory students.
- Location: space next to the 1F reception desk
※ Although CCTV cameras are installed in the storage room, the dormitory will not be responsible for the loss of mail and parcels.
Storage of new residents’ shipped luggage and large packages - New residents should bring their belongings on the dormitory move-in date. However, anything that they must ship to the dormitory should arrive on their move-in date because there is no place to store large boxes or luggage.
- Such large boxes or luggage will be left at near the 1F reception desk and the dormitory will not be responsible for the loss of such items.
