Dormitory Registration Process

Qualifications for Dormitory Application

  • Students expected to be enrolled in UST (including those expected to return to school, excluding those taking or expected to take a leave of absence and those who are not enrolled post-coursework)
  • Disqualified applicants: students suffering from infectious diseases or carriers of such diseases and those permanently discharged from UST dormitories

Maximum residence period

  • Master’s program: 2 years(4 semesters)
  • Doctoral program: 3 years(6 semesters)
  • Integrative program: 4 years(8 semesters)

    Dormitory Application Method

    Online application
    • Apply by accessing the UST dormitory website via computers or mobile devices
    • Log in with student ID number

    Required Documents

    Required documents are only to be submitted by students as required

    Screening Criteria

    50% new students, 50% enrolled students
    ※ In principle, students who have difficulty in being admitted to the dormitories of their affiliated school/campus will be selected.

    - Recipients of national compensation for patriots, veterans, and their children
    ② Foreign students Up to 50%
    ③ Students with good undergraduate academic performance Any remaining openings
    Enrolled Students ① Students selected on a preferential basis* As required
    ② Dormitory assistants (floor leaders)
    ③ Foreign students Up to 50%
    ④ Students with good academic performance (preceding first and second semesters) Any remaining openings

    Application Result Announcements

    • Dormitory website (application result confirmation), SMS, e-mail

    Dormitory Fee Payment

    • Make a full payment of the Dormitory fee to the virtual account by the designated payment due
      ※ Those students who do not pay the Dormitory fee will have their residence application automatically cancelled
      ※ Dormitory fee : Residence fee & Deposit (Prepayment for Utility bills such as water, electricity, gas)
      ※ The Deposit will be refunded except personal expenses for utility during staying period, when students move out of the dormitory
