Greetings from the UST Dormitory Office.
We are pleased to announce the Regular Dormitory Application for the Fall Semester of the 2026 Academic Year.
Students who wish to reside in the UST Dormitory (Doryong-dong, Daejeon) are requested to carefully review the attached announcement. Application Schedule- Application Period: August 14 (Fri) ？ August 19 (Wed), 2026
- Room assignments are not made on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please submit your application within the application period and indicate only your preferred room type (single room or triple room).
- Selection Process:
- Applicants will be selected according to the previously announced selection priority criteria (attached below).
- After priority placement, any remaining vacancies will be filled by random drawing among eligible applicants.
- Announcement of Results: August 21 (Fri), 2026
- Results will be posted on the UST Dormitory website.
- Dormitory Fee Payment: August 24 (Mon) ？ August 25 (Tue), 2026
- Bank account information will be provided separately.
- Online Submission of Move-in Documents: By August 27 (Thu), 2026
- Required documents:
- Dormitory Move-in Application Form
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test Certificate
- The TB test certificate may also be submitted on the day of move-in.
- Move-in & Orientation: August 28 (Fri), 2026

Important Notes- Approximately 9 single rooms and 23 triple-room spaces are expected to be available for the Fall Semester of the 2026 Academic Year.
- Applicants will be selected according to the established priority criteria. If applicants have the same priority, selection will be made by lottery.
- Even if you apply for a single room, you may be assigned to a triple room if a single room is unavailable. Triple-room assignments will also follow the selection criteria.
- Approximately 50% of the available spaces are reserved for international students. The remaining spaces will be allocated based on factors such as residential distance and the established selection criteria. Please note that competition for dormitory admission has been high in recent semesters.
Information for Newly Admitted StudentsSince the UST dormitory admission results will be announced on August 21, we strongly recommend that you also inquire about and apply for dormitories at your affiliated school (campus) rather than waiting solely for the UST dormitory results. In addition, we encourage you to explore off-campus housing options in advance in case you are not selected for the UST dormitory.
